another funny sequence

I indulged in a nap on Tuesday afternoon. Eva was sleeping, and Nathanael was building in my bedroom. I vaguely remember him asking if he could use the camera to take a picture of his castle. Again... a funny surprise for Alan and I when we downloaded the pics last night!

Children are quite the gift, aren't they? If you think for one minute that there is time for life to come to some sort of standstill, please stop by our house. You may change your mind.

So I went to use the camera the other day...couldn't see through the lens. Yep, there it was. A big crusty smudge covered half the glass. Hmm. How did that happen? Alan and I got the pictures off the camera last night.

Nice, huh?

heavy hearts

Normally we stick to the lighter side of life on our blog; this week, however, our hearts our heavy. We have lost Alan's sister, Carolyn, our dear Aunt CC.

Since the grown-ups in this house are struggling to find the right words for the moment, I'll share with you two of the many little Kruglet prayers that have been echoing around here the last few days.
