We put like colors together, but you can still see shade variation in the muffin crayons. I bet if you used different colors, took them out of the oven just as they melted, and swirled them, they'd probably be multi-colored.
Just looked closer at ours...we did have some white in the orange. The orange muffin crayon clearly has a white stripe in it....oooh, this WOULD be fun to mix up on purpose!
1. peel paper and break up old crayons
2. heat in the oven
3. cooling
4. ooooh!!
5. aaaaah!!!

These are totally cool! Did you try any with two or three colors? Or would they all melt together instead of staying separate?
